Throughout the school year, students are encouraged to give money to the Tzedaka fund each week as one way to learn about Gimilut Chasadim. At the end of the year, the children will help decide how to distribute the money collected.

Welcome to a new year of discovery and Jewish living at Temple Israel Religious school!
Looking ahead, the Sunday School director is busy compiling a Religious School directory to help with carpooling and parties, etc. Many parents thought this would be a great addition to our program and we are happy to follow their suggestion. So, look for this to be available on the first day of Religious School.
See you at High Holiday services and events this fall.
The
first day of Religious School for both Sunday School students and
Hebrew School students will be on Wednesday, September 22. We will
meet at 4:30 for a snack and Sukkah decorating before the
congregational pot luck at 6:00 that evening.
